My little one has been going to Kinder Haven 1 since Tamara took over 6 months ago and it’s a very different place from when I viewed it last year. The staff are so caring and genuinely seem pleased to see the kids everyday - my little girl goes happily over for cuddles every morning and waves me off which makes drop offs a dream! I get lovely updates on what she’s been up to during the day. I took a star away because the s kill me (I think a price review is much needed at this time) but my daughter is happy so I am too! Thank you Tamara and her team

My partner and I were looking at moving closer to work but decided against it and while we wouldn't specifically stay for just a daycare centre, it was a big factor in our decision. The hours of the centre are accommodating and it's a quick walk to the train station. The educators at Kinder Haven are also really down to earth, my son (who doesn't really like new people) has responded so well to them, he learns so much every week and they always prepare a variety and generous quantity of food the children.
We've been with Kinder Haven for 6 years with our girls. There has been a lot of change over the past year, some of which wasn't great and really brought a fantastic center down. Since this year however Tamara has come on board and is really getting things moving back to the amazing place that it once was. She's so responsive to good or bad feedback and is clearly trying hard to get things back to how they should be.
I have had children at JKH1 for the past 4 years and it is a lovely centre. It went through a rough patch last year with a less than wonderful centre manager and staff turnover as a result, but the new manager, Tamara, is great and the best manager we have had in the time we have been there. Tamara has made a huge effort to put in place a lovely team of permanent educators who are all very loving with the children. My daughter is happy to go there each day and always keen to tell me all of the fun things she did when I pick her up. I feel that the educators really take the time to know my daughter and provide such charming updates on her activities during the day. Under Tamara's leadership, I would definitely recommend JKH1.
We have been sending our daughter to JKH1 for a couple of months now and have so many positives to say about this lovely child care centre. Tamara's communication is always very prompt and thorough, every staff member genuinely enjoys spending time with the kids, and they get to know each child really well. After our daughter's first day, the educators already knew all about her interests, likes, dislikes, strengths and goals. Tamara and the educators take the time each day to let us know how our daughter's day was, telling us things like what she ate and who she played with, which is great to hear about. Tamara and the team really helped our daughter to settle in so quickly to JKH1. She loves going there, has made lots of friends and is learning so much. We are so happy with our decision to send our daughter to JKH1.
A clear case of a daycare charging 150 based on their five year old rating. At multiple occasions noticed the staff turning on iPads to keep the kids quiet at the end of they day. Not much happening in terms of education here. Not recommended.
We have been sending our daughter to Kinder Haven 1 for 4 years, throughout the time we have experienced our fair share of fustration with previous Managers and Head Office. With this being said, they have gone through a massive rehaul in their management and I have to say this is the happiest we have been with the centre in a long time. The Centre Manager and staff are just wonderful and pleasent to deal with, we have not had any issues this year and feel that they are meeting the education needs our daughter requires before heading to school next year. Kinder Haven 1 have got a great team!
An appalling experience with my two children. In almost 2 years of enrolment I've never experienced such a shameful lack of respect from many staff and current management towards myself and the disgusting level of care of my children. I would never recommend this centre to anyone I know. Expensive and not worth the 155 a day. Less than satisfactory and that's being nice. Do not bother suggesting I contact you to discuss this further, I already have. I must add, my experience with corporate management was exemplary in resolving many of my concerns. It's an embarrassment that frontline staff bring this business into disrepute.
