This is how I picture my local bakery down the street, not pretentious, just a good quality bakery with a great range of high top sour dough loafs as well as baguettes, amazing range of little tarts and small colourful cakes. The staff are super friendly and are genuine. They have warm welcoming smiles and greetings. They have takeaway coffee's, in which I was generally surprised at how affordable their prices are. Thanks Guys I will return, again and again.

You can choose to eat in or takeaway - separate counters - ordering at the counter is easy and staff have always been friendly. Order what you like from the display - the meat pies are excellent with real chucks of steak / beef. They have their own tomato relish, which is an good compliment to the savory pastries.

Super cute bakery with lots of selection for both savoury and sweet items. I greatly enjoyed the eclair, strawberry pistachio tart, Anzac cookie and a mocha. The fresh cream in the eclair and with the tart was divine! Battery point is also a very lovely place for the bakery. It has lots of space and seating and the staff are pretty efficient.

Today I went there with my husband to have my first cafe experience after not seeing him for 14 months due to Covid travel restrictions. The waitress was a young lady that from the moment we sat she was very impatient to take the orders, the next thing she literally threw the cutlery on the table but I thought maybe they are busy and probably doesn’t mean anything, then she almost shoved the coffees on the table and there was no sign of being nice or friendly.I wanted to enjoy my experience with my partner but instead I felt being disrespected. People go out with their loved ones to make nice memories and I think sometimes people in hospitality forget their power to make someone’s day. We don’t go out to have food, we go out to have a quality time and make beautiful moments. Wish that girl knew what it meant for me and my husband sitting there. I must add that all other staff seemed to be very friendly and when I gave my feedback at reception the gentleman took it so well.

Visiting over Easter and heard about this place. Amazing cannot describe the ambience, the food and the coffee. If you're a local or just visiting.. you have to take the time to have lunch here and grab some treats for the road!!

Once touched down in Hobart, we went straight to the popular cafe that people raved bout the bakery for our first brunch meal in Hobart. I had the scallop pie (was so excited about it and looking forward to have tothis for so long) and we had free range pork, apple and sage sausage roll. The pie was so-so for me, the flavour was rather blend but the amount of scallops in it was generous and only costs 11. The sausage roll good and costs 10. Everything was so worth it. Craving fixed!

My husband and I visited this place for the first time yesterday afternoon and unfortunately we were very much disappointed with the service. The middle aged woman at the counter who was taking our orders was quite rude and very unfriendly. So disappointing. We thought it's a good place to try because of good reviews but nah, we're not going back there anymore. By the way, my husband found a hair stuck in his cake.

We got their later in the day so a lot of the food from the menu was sold out (our fault!) the waiter was super friendly and helpful though, recommending lots of other items (all delicious!). We even grabbed some goodies to take with us after lunch. Such a cute little bakery in a lovely little spot. Only a short distance from the Salamanca Markets!
