Great experience. A group of 6 went for dinner and ordered a few dishes amongst us. All were delicious and huge portions. Great variety and great service. Definitely recommend this and will go back! Thank you

Enjoyed a wonderful experience for date night. Ambiance and customer service were great and the vegan food was amazing. Both my partner and I shared 1 entre 2 main dishes and 1 dessert. Open kitchen looked busy but efficient. The food wasn't heavy and a really wonderful vegan variation on trad fare. I recommend the fritti to start. Either the fake sauce gnocchi or the pumpkin mac n cheese With panna cotta to finish. Accompanied and paired with a glass of Grandis 2017 Touriga Rippaso Every table was full for the second seating. I'm glad people know about this place and that vegan food can be so appetising.

Didnt realise this was a vegan restaurant until I got there – I’m not vegan but always up for eating vego and vegan. My husband and I shared the fake sauce gnocchi and the charred corn, chilli and basil pasta. I thought the gnocchi was amazing – the corn one less so but I still enjoyed it and glad I got to try something different. I can see other reviewers saying the food is on the salty side – I thought it was a great level of salty personally! We also got the panna cotta dessert and I really liked it. The service was great; our main waitperson was super lovely and helped recommend a fantastic wine and answered other questions we had. I liked the ambience as the restaurant’s decor is very charming and interesting to look at – yes it’s maybe a little loud since the place is quite small, but I was able to have a conversation with my partner at a normal volume, without raising my voice. This mightve been different if we were a bigger table. I was visiting Newcastle on a trip and would definitely return if I ever came back.

Great atmosphere and wonderful service. Very limited menu but the few dishes listed are beautifully prepared. Would recommend and will be coming back.

We absolutely loved our meal at Pino's. We shared 4 dishes between the two of us and left very satisfied and content. The meals were some of the best I've ever had, albeit a little salty. I like this place. Everything is nice and clean. Would highly recommend to anyone, vegan or not.

Booked for 7pm, and arrived on time. When we were seated, we were told the table we had booked was out the front. As we walked out, a group of older people walked up and said they would like the table. The waitress then approached me, and said that some 'regulars' had just requested the table so we would have to sit elsewhere. Once we had finished eating, we were sitting and talking, and the waitress came over twice in a 5 minute period as soon as we had finished eating to ask if we needed anything else. After the 2nd time the owner came over and told us we HAD to leave as they needed the table (which they packed up and moved to the side as we walked out). All the while, the 'regulars' were still sitting outside and not been moved on, and were also not ordering anything else. Overall, not a place to go if you want to catch up with friends, as they will kick you out if you are not 'regulars'. Food was ok, but there are definitely better Italian and vegan options in Newcastle. Go elsewhere.

This really is a hidden gem of Newcastle. Laid back vibes with very friendly staff. Food was served very quickly, and both the arancini balls and pasta puttanesca were delicious. You wouldn't find better Italian food at this price, definitely recommend. Thanks guys!
