Amazing views and a small campsite area which is only 1km from the main highway (you decide if that's good or bad). Only stayed one night but plenty of space and interesting to see after all the farming/cattle areas

Isla Gorge Campground is within the National Park. Most campsites near the spectacular sandstone Gorge are rocky so care needs to be taken where one sets up a tent. It has limited facilities that include composting toilets, picnic shelter and tank water that requires boiling before being used. Some of the campsites have fire rings. Wood need to be sourced outside of the Isla Gorge NP.
A beautiful place to visit. The campgrounds are clean and tidy with access to a longdrop toilet. The day use area was not as clean and tidy. Visitors left behind bags of rubbish and dirty nappies which we got rid of. The gorge itself is something to behold. The sandstone cliffs change colour throughout the day as the sun passes over.
Small camping area, ground is hard, places to light fires & BYO wood, toilet, tap, covered picnic tables, walking tracks. Scenic and so peaceful.
Camped 10ft away from edge and loved the view, toilets were ample and there was a little dust around but well worth the visit. Please bring your own firewood as it is a National Park.
Awesome spot, nice and quite, not far from Hwy but couldn't hear nothing. The view is amazing. Drop toilets and non drinkable water. Paid 18 for family for one night.
Isla gorge camping grounds it has really beautiful views and sunsets and clear sky's perfect for a photographer
amazing views from our sites. Quiet and tidy. A bit rocky and drop toilets a bit smelly.
