Arranging a funeral is so confronting, so many emotions and much confusion. The staff at Sylvan Funerals were at all times kind and caring , they explained everything so clearly and with so much patience and understanding. They made a difficult time bearable. Gaylene conducted Dad's service and it was beautiful. She had listened to our stories of Dad's life and wove that knowledge into the service with ease and beauty. Gaylene and Helen were incredibly respectful of our Dad and his family at all times. Thank you to all staff at Sylvan Funerals for making this day so special for us. Could not of been more understanding and compassionate towards everyone. They allowed all the grandchildren and family to draw,place pictures and put things in the coffin on the day which made it more comfortable to us all. To also have the whole ceremony live fed to other relatives in other states made the day be able to be shared with everyone that loved John. The team at Sylvan Funerals were exceptional in their care and compassion with the preparation and service for Donald Ballard on 10/02/2020. On calling Sylvan Funerals (On a Sunday) Roman came to the house to advise us, and with Gaylene, our wonderful celebrant, guided us through the process with such compassion. Vic, Helen and Ramon took care of every detail when we farewelled our beloved Step Father. We cannot thank you enough for everything you did for us.
