My daughter has been learning guitar for a year now under Greg's tutelage she is loving it and he is so patient with her! It is such a great music school, it caters for all ages and abilities and most importantly they make the lessons fun for everyone!

I've really enjoyed my vocal lessons at IAM. The teachers are fantastic - friendly (which is so important with vocal lessons, because singing in front of people can be intimidating!), knowledgeable, and willing to work around my schedule as a mum with two young kids. I've learnt so much, had a lot of fun doing it, and always felt supported and encouraged. Highly recommend to anyone searching for a vocal instructor in Hobart!
Jessica graduated from Junior Piano 2 this week at International Academy of Music Hobart. Here she is with her certificate and her class and teacher, Miss Amanda. Thanks to IAM Hobart for still running classes via zoom during the COVID 19 lockdown and allowing Jessica to achieve this and maintain her development in music. Stephanie also takes guitar lessons with Greg at International Academy of Music Hobart and received a glowing report last week for her development over the last year. She has a lovely pink guitar and is on the IAM Hobart website homepage so check it out! Proud of both girls learning music and grateful to International Academy of Music Hobart for running a fantastic academy and providing the opportunity to learn music in a fun and friendly environment
It has been such a pleasure rediscovering the joy of learning a musical instrument through IAM Hobart. My daughter started learning piano in a group class and I was immediately impressed by how engaged the children were and how much fun they were having learning music through every one of their senses. I have since joined an adult class! Having learnt to play another instrument as a child in a more formal way, this non-traditional approach is refreshing with the focus on training the ear (and body) and encouraging students to be creative. I feel we are being taught how to unlock and explore music and how to make it our own. I believe this approach sets up children well for a life-long love and curiosity about music. Thank you for bringing the joy back into learning an instrument!

I love my lessons at IAM Hobart so so much! I'm doing microwave piano, and I just turned 50 (OMG!). This is a great way to learn, not scary or formalised at all -and I wish I had done it years ago! Lyndon is so much fun and I've been learning things fast. I highly recommend to anyone wanting to get in touch with their creative musical practice.
Our family has really enjoyed our five years with IAM. The teachers are very knowledgeable and supportive of their students. The programme is well organised and I know we are getting the very best musical education available.
I returned to playing piano early 2019 after more than 30 years and am loving it.
