I have successfully refinanced with IMB Glen Waverley Vic and found this banking institution excellent and way ahead of others in the industry including the majors for personal care and attitude. Branch Manager Andrew has great listening skills and a positive attitude to problem solving. If you are transparent and realistic in your application I found Andrew's assiduous effort to drive and support the proposition to his Head Office management was exceptional. Can only recommend highly and don't make judgements based on IMB's low profile in Melbourne. Very glad to have found IMB.

I had high hopes when I started dealing with this Bank for a personal loan (secured with a vehicle). The staff where nice to deal with but the terms and conditions for the loan were ridiculous. For a person with good credit history, a solid savings account & assets and a salary more than enough to cover a meager personal loan, the documents they requested were way over the top. I paid deposit for the vehicle after they gave me a pre-approval and I purchased insurance because this was a requirement for the loan. After all this, the accessors decide the vehicle is not suited as a security (brand new from the showroom) and offers me an unsecured loan at a much higher rate. Embarrassing to deal with when you have had a good financial standing with 4 other banks. Now I have lost a good relationship with the dealer (Whom i have been dealing with for years) . Thank you IMB bank. I will never use your service and I hope no one else has to go through this ordeal again to be disappointed in the end.
I had a great experience with Andrew at the Glen Waverley Branch for a Personal loan, he is knowledgable, helpful and took the time to explain everything to me in relation to the product l was after. When l am ready to get my new car l will go and see him. He is a credit to the organisation. I plan on moving all my banking to IMB when l have my next day off.
Came across totally inefficient and unprofessional bunch at IMB Glen Waverley branch. There is absolutely no focus on customer service. When I called to enquire I got passed around from one person to the other. Eventually when I spoke to the branch manager Andrew, he was rude and unhelpful.
High fees, terrible service and completely inconvenient online experience.
The IMB is a good quality financial Institution. Small enough to care and big enough to deliver.
Worst customer service, never returning calls. If anyone from customer service exist please provide contact details. An update: I sent email on 14/03/2019 with my contact number still no reply!
complete third class banking have no experience in how to deal with genuine customers. don't waste time with this bank of you want to save time.
