Ricky took our group and he was fantastic, funny and very knowledgeable- and constantly had our groups safety at the forefront. He was very courteous to other pedestrians! Top bloke doing good in this world. 5% of tips also go to charity honestly deserve 10 ️
The guide Adrian was friendly and approachable with a sound knowledge of the area and lots of interesting detail - he was considerate of the older members of the tour and injected humour along he way as well! Revealed some interesting aspects of the city that I did not know before!
Awesome tour! Very informative and the guide was great. I recommend it being the first thing you do when you arrive!! After you you have some helpful info and bearings. Visited the top tourists spots and a beautiful walk through the city, last with a awesome view of the bridge and and the Opera House. She gave some great tips and tricks. Please tip! It is free but they work off of trips the tour was worth it. There was 20 in our group but only 5 people tipped including us it was frustrating to watch. Also if you're up for it, the tour ends at the bridge, we walked across the bridge to Luna Park and caught the ferry back. A lot of walking but worth it!
Thanks Jake! Really informative and enjoyable tour. Points out things you might not notice and tells you things you might not know. As a solo traveller it was great to vibe with others and have a friendly chat with our guide. Really appreciated it and would recommend.
Aida, our guide, for the morning tour through Sydney was great. Her commentry never faltered in 3 hours as she explained facts (and fun stories) of cultural and historical significance while we walked from the Town Hall to the Harbour Bridge. She also passed on a lot of tips on how to make your time easier and more enjoyable whilst in Sydney. It's an easy walk and thoroughly recommend for anyone with a pair of walking shoes and 3 hours to spare.
Would definitely recommend. You get to see a lot of downtown Sydney away from the opera house and waterfront (still ends in Circular Quay). Tour was about 3 hours with only about the last 40 minutes in the Rocks and Circular Quay areas, which is great if you’ve already done a Opera House tour and/or Harbor Bridge Climb. Great overview of the rest of downtown. And it’s “free”! Tour guides are not paid, so consider donating what you would consider a solid 3 hour tour to be worth and your personal circumstances. Seemed like most people were giving about 5-20 per person, and I think even at the upper end it was well worth it.
Must do! No reservations needed, just show up. It's very informative and it's free. You'll cover a LOT of Sydneys sweet spots in a 3.5 hr time span. Make sure to wear comfy walking shoes, bring a bottle of water and take lots of photos!
