I am gob smacked by this building & it's surrounds. It holds a place in my mind I will never forget, well worth seeing. The hosts & their helpers (on the day) were just terrific.

I am so looking forward to seeing this place when they have an open day in 2021. The building looks amazing from the road and such an interesting story. Can't wait to see it.
I visited on one of the open days and was very impressed with the house. It was rambling and showed how life was for wealthy pastoral families and the people who worked for them. The history talk was informative and entertaining. It would be amazing to see it fully restored. Well worth the visit. Next open day is on the June long weekend.
I,m sure it would be a wonderful sight. If you could see it!. All you can see is one end of it from road. If it is claimed as a tourist attraction, it's not rocket science, tourists after driving the 28 km need more than than this. It borders onto vacant land, put a side pathway in to allow a view without bothering owners.
Like others, I am sure this is a great place. However it is closed on a weekend when you expect maximum tourists and during peak cherry festival period. It should not be advertised as a tourist destination if you cannot open it to the visitors during the main tourist period.
Gates are closed now. Visited last weekend of Aug. You can see a part of castle from the boundary however we were travelling from Cowra and enjoyed some beautiful canola field on the way.
Great place to visit. You need to check the open date though. And it would be better if they could add more introduction of its history. Will recommend around 40 mins.
Castle is amazing, I gave 2 stars as I was not able to enjoy/visit due to limited operation hours
