Excellent day out! Shandor is an amazing tour guide with loads of knowledge about the Valley. He catered the tour exactly to our needs - 2 x wineries, a brewery and the distillery, with the added extra of the Cider house which he managed to squeeze us into along the way. He is patient and accommodating - nothing is rushed. Very enjoyable. Highly recommend. I will 100% be contacting Shandor again on my return.

Private tour is the only way to go! Shandor is extremely knowledgeable about the Hunter and tailor made our itinerary for us. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience; the wineries, lunch, the extra stop at an art gallery. We’ll definitely book our next tour with Shandor and highly recommend him for your next trip.

Shandor provided an excellent service and always went the extra mile to make sure we had a great weekend. He was very friendly and professional. He tailored the tour towards our preferences, and is extremely knowledgeable about the hunter region. I highly recommend Hunter & Gatherer and would definitely want their services when I visit again.

Highly recommend Hunter & Gatherer Wine Tours. Shandor is a thoughtful amazing tour guide for the Hunter Region. Before we even arrived in the Hunter Valley, Shandor took the time to understand what we wanted out of our short break out of Sydney. Then organised a wonderful tour with wine tastings at boutique wineries (we were never rushed), then off for an Historic NSW Country Town tour - places in our own backyard that are the essence of regional NSW. To top it off, Shandor tweaked the tour here and there as he continued to take an interest in what our interests were. Can't say enough about the tour. Looking forward to going back up to the Hunter and organising another exciting interesting tour with the Hunter & Gatherer Wine Tours in the Hunter Valley.
