Where do I start. Easily the best chocolate I have ever eaten. The plus side is this place also sells amazing coffee, great snacks and has epic sandwiches. Honestly cannot fault this place!

It comes as no surprise that positive human interactions are an integral part of a memorable customer service experience, yet somehow this retailer missed the briefing. This week, on my first and final visit, I was served by a girl who, for reasons unknown, was robotic and unwelcoming and made my experience feel cold and transactional. Not the kind of service that you might expect from a store that sells happiness.
People bandy about expressions like "the world's best x", or, "you won't taste a better y". But sometimes the place is truly worthy and those phrases are more than platitudes. Huntered Gathered is such a place. The vibe is impeccable; lovely staff, great design, good tunes. The coffee stands up to Melbourne's best. But the chocolate, and the chocolate desserts, really sets this place apart. They are incredible. I honestly can't stress that enough. You really won't have better chocolate no matter how far you or wide you roam. All you need to do is try it to know.
I love heading to this place during my work break! Very chill environment with great coffee and good music. A little choccy oasis tucked away in Cremorne. Pretty cool seeing them make the chocolate out the back and then sampling them in the cafe. Highly recommend :)

A breath of fresh air in the otherwise stale backstreets of Cremorne. H&G are known for their chocolate, but their baked treats are what takes the cake for me – pun intended.
