Delicious Indian food. The O'Bombay in Hornsby is a new choice for an amazing food, we went there this week and we loved! Decoration is pretty cool, staff are so friendly. All dishes come in a generous portion, smell and taste like a heaven, just be careful if you not like spice because some of dishes are very spice, even ordering mild. The best Nan bread that we had the opportunity to try. Prawns and Chicken are so well prepared and delicious A light and taste beer we ordered and really enjoyed it. Prices are good About the Covid-19 QR code I suggest to be close to the entrance door, because we just saw it when we left the restaurant.

The food here was excellent. Very complex and layered flavours. Very well balanced. It is a big step up in terms of quality from the "average" Indian restaurant. The service also, was of a very high standard. Our serving staff were attentive and offered helpful suggestions and we felt well looked after. The only reason I have given 4 stars rather than five is that I felt the value could have been better. They serves were quite small, with a lot of (very tasty) gravy and a small amount of proteins.
Good food and very filling, the pricing is a bit on the high side though and probably reflected in the low patronage that evening. Issue with the menu though is that most of it is spicy, they should offer a few different items. Also, whilst the menu is in English I didn't know what half the stuff was. They should put some nightly specials on similar to neighboring restaurants. It was a shame to see such a big place so empty but...it's Hornsby. The staff were very friendly and attentive which is a big plus.
I've eaten at this new restaurant in Hornsby now 6 times since it's opened. The staff are always welcoming and friendly, whether you're dining in or ordering take away. Food is consistently of a very high standard. A welcome addition to the area. Pay no attention to the clearly fake reviews - this place is the real deal! So, why not 5 stars? Only because I want to return to try more dishes, so I've left room to award a fifth star. It's a very strong 4 stars. Well done!
Certainly an Indian Restaurant with a difference. Good food varieties. The chulka was exactly like served in Punjab. Very authentic The guy at the cashier (I suspect the owner) is a very grumpy guy. He needs some training in etiquette. Hence 4 stars.
Authentic Indian cuisine, delicious flavors. Friendly and attentive service and great ambience. Our second visit and we will be back again soon to try more dishes on the menu.
The ambience is really good. The food is undoubtedly tasty like it was at their pennant hills branch. Giving 3 stars because the menu is very limited and it’s expensive for the things they serve. The menu is limited and there are time restrictions on most of the items. The expectation was to have a restaurant where we can get some snacks/ street food etc. type of stuff but most of the time and majority of their food items involve main course food which we anyway get in any normal Indian restaurant nearby.
The most authentic Indian restaurant we have been to in Sydney. Loved the food, especially Mysore Masala Dosa. Friendly and carrying staff. Would definitely recommend it.
