Since relocating to its current Dandenong South location in November 2015, Hoops 247 Indoor Sports Centre continues to grow its reputation and footprint at the grass roots level of basketball. The facility features – * Three full size basketball courts with the versatility to be used for basketball, futsal and badminton * High performance gym, including instruction on strength and conditioning for young athletes * Courtside Café for light snacks * Pro-shop which stocks basketball memorabilia and merchandise The Hoops 247 community is highly-engaged, with more than 1,500 people each week visiting Hoops – whether it is for casual basketball shooting, high performance training, basketball skills and shooting sessions at the junior beginner, intermediate & elite level, birthday parties, futsal clinics and competition, school groups and clubs training. Three times a year, Hoops 247 hosts 3-on-3 junior basketball tournaments which attract nearly 100 teams ranging from U10 to U18 (boys and girls) at each tournament. These tournaments are FIBA-endorsed which entitles players to earn points for their international rankings … a stepping stone to future opportunities.
