Nothing against the Hobart branch but MAZDA Australia will not take responsibility for a big end failure in a 3.2 ltr 5 cylinder diesel engine after only 143k kilometres. The bt-50 was maintained by Hobart Mazda but for some unknown reason (it was 7 years old) no assistance paying the 15,990 bill was forthcoming even though for a fact an older Cx5 with more kilometres on the clock is being repaired at Mazda's cost. Go figure and tell your mates.

Went in for a simple issue of gear shifter light not working. They said it will cost me 990 to replace it. Called Mazda Sydney and they advised on how to replace the light bulb my self for 1.99 , a bit of a difference there. Whats the point of servicing at the "Dealership" when they don't know their own cars? I'll be spending my money elsewhere.

When I arrived i was treated promptly and with courtesy and I was told the cost of the service and I got a text from the service department to say when my car had been serviced and on pick up I was shown what was completed i was asked if I had any questions and they answered the questions I had and as I am in the market for a bt50 in the near future I had a very pleasant young man named Chris who told me about the new vehicle and accessories and I will definitely be back for my next service and I wasn't sure how my service would go with me not being there before because I have recently moved from Melbourne and I can say they are definitely more customer oriented than they are on the mainland and im looking forward to many more services from Hobart mazda and possibly a future purchase of a bt50

This is our second Mazda now. Both times we have dealt with Bryn, and he makes us feel welcome and always willing to listen to our needs. When we have decided on vehicle, he keeps us informed of any developments in the progress to picking up the car. Since we picked the new vehicle up we had A minor issue with the radio which will be fixed this week.
