Amy Lugten-Taylor established Lugten-Taylor Art Advisory (LTAA) in 2014, to provide affordable, unbiased advice and guidance on a range of art services from buying and/or investing in art, to decorating your home with art. The art market is often an overwhelming and complex place and whether you are new to collecting or own an established collection, LTAA offers tailored advice which considers your tastes, budget and needs. Since graduating with a degree in Economics and Fine Arts in 2013, Amy has completed curatorial and research roles at the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam, as well as Art Business qualifications from Sotheby's Institute of Art, London. Having worked in numerous highly-successful commercial galleries, Amy brings her sales and strategy advice to LTAA. Amy has a Graduate Diploma and possess a Masters in Evaluation with Honours from the University of Melbourne and has developed and is currently coordinating one of the most successful units on offer at the University of Tasmania, which explores the international art market, art theft during times of conflict and issues concerning cultural heritage. In 2016 Amy was approved to value art for the Australian Government's Cultural Gifts Program and has valued art for clients including the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery, Australian and international galleries, art collectors, and Australian art funds. Additionally, to help you make the right decisions, LTAA offers advice in auction research and services, and analysis of market data for investors and collectors. Her services are available to private and public investors alike, as well as collecting groups and trusts, ranging from novice buyers to experienced collectors.
