Absolutely disgraceful! By far the most unprofessional, unorganised and incompetent business in any industry I have ever experienced. I have acted on behalf of previous tenants of Hive Student Accommodation and am appalled by the ongoing of this companies operations. It is impossible to contact a property manager at Hive as they will not answer phone calls and will not respond to emails. They avoid, lie and manipulate at all costs to tenants and property owners alike. This company has a targeted demographic of vulnerable uni students, especially international students, of whom they will try and intimidate as the majority are young first time renters that are unaware there are other rental options and services available to them. I strongly recommend looking elsewhere for a rental house or room as there are many more in the area and other companies that have property managers that will treat you fairly, politely, respectfully and will not take advantage of you. You can make a fair judgement of Hives performance by reading all the 1 star reviews as they are from real experiences and are true. Don’t be fooled by any 5 star reviews as they are from new tenants just signed up and yet to experience Hive or they are fake generated reviews. The real honest reviews are the 1 stars and they only have 1 star because unfortunately you cannot have zero. Please feel free to contact with any queries regarding Hive as I have a lot of insight into the ongoing of this company and its management.

I had used the Hive accommodation services for 2 times. The service and stuffs are very friendly they are super helpful. The reason I give only 4 star review because no such thing is "perfect" you need to give the Hive accommodation a try and you will know how amazing they are :)
My stay with Hive has been great over the last two years, and Andrea, who has managed the property I lived at, has been extremely helpful and attentive. At the end of my lease, I was requested to pay for a certain issue, which I politely discussed with Tamara (another property manager) via email. She was nice initially, while I appreciate how straightforward her reply was. I am also quite disappointed at the same time with how she downright ignored everything else I mentioned in the email. I would understand if my approach about the replacement cost can't be negotiated but being disregarded that way without a proper rejection certainly doesn't leave a good impression, especially after the end of my lease.
Great place for students who don't want the headache of getting involved in maintenance of the whole place except your own room. Hive manages it pretty well. I lived in Hive for all 3 years of my studentship. Thanks, Sylvia, Natalie, Claire and Callum (my property managers) for being approachable and kind.
Has a wide range of options of properties from students to choose from, starting from very affordable to quite decent places. Very convenient, staff are very kind, really enjoyed my 1 year stay with hive!
If only negative stars were an option. Myself and 3 other uni students lived under the management of this 'business' for our first year in Brisbane, worst mistakes of our lives. All upkeep/handiwork was consistently delayed and sometimes forgotten about altogether, communication with our property manager was virtually impossible due to them never responding and much, much more. We have just finished discussions between the management, ourselves and the RTA regarding bond issues which has just further enlightened us to how unprofessional this company is. If at all avoidable I would highly encourage to not use this management for there are many better choices for the area. 0 star. If you think your time and money is limited and don't waste it, please don't trying contact with them and stay their property. They just believe they have amaging staffs and do not admit their mistakes. That's good then explain me why you guys got many low rate review. I wasted tons of my time and money.
Looked at a lot of places and Hive's looked the cleanest and best presented of the stuff in my price range. Have been here two weeks and like it so far, they have cleaners come to my place every couple of weeks which helps with the messy flatmates!
