Atmosphere is lovely. My friends raved about this place. It was ok. We enjoyed the corn. Bird in a bowl ( chicken salad ) was excellent. Taco's were average. Beef ribs ok. Dessert definitely the corn cake with caramel sauce was the best. Too much chilli in the chocolate brownie. Cocktails were nice. Service was excellent. The food comes out quickly. Corkage was very fair at 15-

Best Latin American restaurant in Adelaide. Amazing food and cocktails, highly recommend!! We had the elote, smoky chicken taco and Ecuadorian stew, all amazing and tasty.

With a line forming from 5pm, HM is clearly a popular choice for many. The staff were super friendly (special shout out to Alice) and the food arrived promptly. The modern Mexican menu definitely has an overall spicy undertone, even the chocolate brownies are laced with chilli. Almost entirely Gluten Free, the wifey was free to order at her leisure which was a welcomed change. Highlights were the Elote, Nachos and Duck Dirty Duck.

This is obviously a very popular place, despite the tricky parking in that area. The food and service were great and didn’t disappoint, with a focussed menu, truly tuned to the obvious theme. Unfortunately, as an oldie, the “noise” was making it difficult to understand conversation and order easily. My hearing’s perfect but with the decor comprising the contents of half a small copper mine and many other metal and brick surfaces, the result is the opposite of an anechoic chamber, with a constant, self elevating level of echoed conversations that more resemble a large industrial chicken shed. Unless you’re young and completely hip with that kind of “atmosphere”, and don’t mind catching a bus or Über to avoid the parking puzzle, you might like to check the attendance histogram (on Google maps) to target their “quiet time”? Again, can’t fault the food, it’s spot on and good value for money, and would recommend with caveats above, but I won’t be back in a hurry. (Still have ringing in my ears at 10am the following morning - don’t like!)

Beautiful garden table - great atmosphere. So many great dishes on the menu it's hard to choose. So many amazing options for vegetarians and vegans equal to the meat and fish dishes. Try their Sangrias, especially refreshing on a warm night.

Tasty food, great service, nice atmosphere and lots of yummy vegan options to choose from. There's indoor and outdoor seating and plenty of space. I'd definitely recommend this place for a group of friends!

We had a nice evening dining at the Hispanic Mechanic. We were surprised that no tacos were served as part of the feed me menu and I’d skip ordering the tequitos and the fruity twist margarita. I would recommend that you get the wings and pisco sour - delish! Couldn’t fault the service - very enjoyable evening
