A usual sushi train style place. It was very busy at 1 pm on a weekend when we went there. Good selection and you can order from a tablet if you fancy a dish not travelling around.

Really disappointing sushi train style place. Came in at peak mid week dinner time 7pm, surprised to see the carousel almost empty with the same dozen or so stale offers going around. One of the plates had a fly stuck inside it. Much better options around.

Really impressed, staff went to extra effort to get a staff member in to cut seafood so we could have the sashimi platter. Genuinely concerned about our comfort and happiness. Outstanding, food is typical from a sushi train outlet very acceptable quality and well enjoyed.

Very disappointed, Living in the neighbourhood we have been coming to HIKARU since it open, today upon entering we we're completely ignored by the staff. They we're busy though several tables were empty. When we asked if we could sit down at an empty table was met with a roll of eyes and then the service person continued to ignore us. It will be some time before we recommended or revisit HIKARU after this encounter.

We love the atmosphere of this place...great mood lighting, colourful hanging lamps, computer screens for efficient ordering and friendly service. Alcohol availability is a big plus too...sushi and Sapporo go so well together. However was very disappointed to have to use those little packets of wasabi and ginger! Also, ordered the fresh tuna and they had none...very disappointing.

Very poor customer service. Couldn't put together a simple order, even though the resturant was empty, got told my choice (for my 4 year old child) would be bland and tasteless. Ended up taking my business else where!.
