After reading some of the previous reviews I was worried to order from Highly Strung. But I found out that they have a good reputation amongst well-known artists, so I had to give them a try. And I must say I have no regrets whatsoever. Replies to all my queries / emails were pretty much straight away. I ordered a few large size custom linen canvases and the quality is so much better than the best (more expensive ones) I have bought till today. I can’t wait to start painting. The way I was greeted and treated was well beyond my expectations and the knowledge I gathered when I was there was well worth it. Both Sue and Glenn are fantastic to deal with, highly knowledgeable and I would certainly recommend them. They are also very reasonably priced and the collection of art material in their shop is quite nice. I don’t think I’ll mind driving all the way from Moggill again.

I do a lot art and art shopping and this is one place I won't be visiting again. The lady looked like if she said hello to me she might just have a heart attack. It was the most strained hello and no customer service after that. Said thank you on the way out because there was no way I was buying anything from someone who was rude and even with the thank you there was nothing. Extremely rude and I would rather spend my money in a store where people actually want my money.

Im really shocked at the customer service I received in this shop. The lady behind counter made me feel unwelcomed, almost like I was a bother to her. Its sad to see a local shop with such negative customer service reviews. Its a nice shop on the inside but I wont return after my experience.

Without question the worst customer service experience of 2017. They framed two pictures with the wrong mats, blamed me and their supplier for their own mistake and refused to take any responsibility. They finally accepted a return because one print wasn't attached to the hinge properly. Months later they were returned to me "fixed". They put the correct mat in this time but the workmanship was even worse, prints were hinged off-centre and the frame had clips sticking in front of the mats, giving them a warped look. Gave up on this company and got my prints re-framed elsewhere.

I have tried to use these guys twice now, once personally and secondly as a consultant and each time the service has been as good as the last. They are unhelpful, defensive and display some of the worst examples of customer service I have ever experienced. Don't waste your time, there are plenty of great framers locally that will value you as a customer and more importantly your business..... Never again! _______________________________________________ N.B The reply you have taken 9 months to write below may have you confusing me with someone else, as I did nothing of the sort but I guess 9 months to think about it may do that to a person. At least your reply compounded my customer service comments. First rule of business, keep it professional and whilst the customer may not always be right, replies like this never help. Just heed the advice and grow from it. Its called customer SERVICE for a reason.
