Would not recommend. I’ve been here in the past and was looking forward to a massage and spa experience. For the price my friends and I paid I was expecting a first class experience. While the massage part of our day was lovely, the lunch advertised as a “regional tasting platter” was anything but regional. More like supermarket products you can buy anywhere. From there things went down hill. My friends and I went to reception to begin our relaxing spa soak only to be FAT SHAMED by the woman working there. I asked for an xxl bath robe (as the massage staff had given me earlier in the day) only to be given an insult of ... “well it fits me fine” (this woman was a thin). Another co-worker finally stepped in to attempt to save me from being BODY SHAMED and gave me the larger bath robe. It ruined my day and the whole experience. The change rooms were filthy with dirty nappies and cups left everywhere. No toilet paper in any of the toilets. Gross to say the least. Save your money. Go somewhere else. Extremely disappointing and humiliating.

Booked a couples escape and stayed at the Spa Retreat for the weekend. The directions/instructions were not very clear. We did find the Reception and the check in process was very simple and the staff were polite. We stayed in Villa Eight which was very beautiful and looked like the pictures however we did find a number of issues such as: - Cracked tile near the spa which is a tripping hazard. - One of the bedside lamp/lights not working (blown globe needed replacing). - Toilet roll holder came off the wall and landed on my foot. - One of the shower heads didn't work - Shelf in the shower is extremely wobbly and also looks ready to come away from the tiles. - Some minibar items that were listed were not present (I did message about this and it was rectified straight away which was good. We did not want to get charged for something there was not there). I have sent a message (twice) on Facebook to Hepburn Springs as the phone number provided just rings out and am yet to receive a reply even though I can see my messages have been read which is deeply disappointing hence my review here. This is a very expensive package and it did not meet my expectations for a 5 star hotel, I will not be recommending anyone I know to go here. Again, I would like to reiterate that all of the staff we did interact with were genuinely nice and did try to be as helpful as possible but I do not find the overall spa and accommodation to be at the level of professionalism as it should be and for the price that you pay.

Lockers were small. And so was the change rooms. Make them bigger especially for families. Nice pools. Nice to laze around. Overall very nice but should be perfect for the price.

The staff are super helpful. The venue itself has a fantastic view into the forest while you relax and unwind in the mineral pool. Would definitely go again

This is a review that is long overdue. The scenery is absolutely breathtaking as you enter the springs and bathhouse. You are welcomed by lush greenery and peace. Perfect atmosphere to unwind. The interior is absolutely spotless and the desk clerks are well presented and greet you in friendly manner. I had a pleasant chat with both ladies as we were led downstairs and attended to by the wonderful Caylee and Josh. The lockers and locker room was also clean and it wasn't rocket science getting into the robes. My favourite pool was the heated pool overlooking the exposed nature outside. It does get quite warm after a bit of time in the water so it was very nice having that contrast of fresh air hit you. There was also a jet activated pool where you could sit down and get a jet message. The pool outside was a bit noiser with families and kids enjoying the pool that is surrounded by the greenery. The mineral pool out the back however is stunning. There is a beautiful sun roof up the top which reminds me of Ariel's grotto and I sung part of your world appropriately as I didn't know when I would be back next. I have to give special mention to Caylee who entertained and served us exclusively throughout and she was an absolutely customer service star. Great to talk to and to learn about the pools. Josh was excellent in the duties he performed and always made sure we were topped up with drinking water. Amazing guy. And this was an amazing experience at a hot spring you will never forget.

It’s nothing like what We expected for a mineral hot spring. There were way too much Chlorine in the hot pool and it’s just like a normal swimming pool in my suburbs but cost 5 times more. There were underaged kids making noises and really not a relaxing environment you would expect from a spa. Only thing we are happy was we didn’t pay another extra 50 each to upgrade! Such a poor value for the money.

Booked the couples experience...it was entirely underwhelming. Very dated facilities, the “regional platter” was a joke, everything clearly came from a packet. The pear on it was partially rotten. It was so bad we had to go elsewhere to eat. Only redeeming quality was that the staff were lovely and the massage was nice. At the prices they’re charging however, the entire business plan needs an update. I have been to many spas, and this was definitely not as advertised. They’re clearly only popular due to location and the limited availability of other hot springs in the area. I imagine the good reviews are solely from people who haven’t any experience at other baths or day spas. I’m shocked we paid 840 for a couples day, we’re given the above- and also didn’t have access to hot showers at any point. For less you could go to Mornington hot springs and have a much more enjoyable time!

Good place to unwind after a big meal. Not much variety in terms of hot springs, there are only two pools that are family friendly. Speaking of friendly, staff could be a lot more enthusiastic. Good but not great.
