Fantastic place for big or small you lovers, mainly big ones. It has a fantastic collection of model cars, bicycles, aircrafts, etc. Also, the best place to get your toys fixed or repaired. Most interesting part for me is the locomotive section. Unbelievable....

Great products and customer service. When there was a small issue with my order the staff were more than friendly and willing to help out. 5 out of 5, will definitely shop here again.

They have been at their current location for many years now, so you know they are doing a great job and are seen as dependable by the Melbourne hobby community.

I received very poor customer service from this business. I went to their website and ordered and paid for a model aircraft for my daughter. Soon after I received an email - 1. It said she had tried to call me - which she hadn't 2. She asked where I had found the 'ad' - when she already knew that the hobby man website had the wrong price on it and that the price issue had quickly been rectified back to 70 before she emailed me. Therefore she could have just admitted that it was a mistake and that the store policy is not to honour prices if they are a mistake. 3. The business provided no offer to assist me with the matter - this would have been a great opportunity to offer 10% discount or similar to assist with the stuff around they had caused and I probably would have accepted. 4. Then I received an email to say they will complete my refund 'in a few days'! When I asked as to why it would take 'a few days' to process my refund I have had NO REPLY! Very poor customer service and I would not recommend dealing with this business.

Terrible customer service like pulling teeth to get any email response have been trying for weeks now! Poor advertising - bought a figure (from a predominantly miniature shop by a predominantly miniature brand under “model railway figurines”) thinking it was miniature and with no description at all with sizing there was nothing to confirm with and I ended up with a 10cm kangaroo that I haven’t even opened but apparently it’s “change of mind” so I have to pay to ship it back to possibly get a store credit which I will then have to pay the shipping for that so big waste of money don’t shop here! Apparently “when sizing is not stated no assumptions should be made” - sandy. Also not sure how they have a good rating with all their terrible reviews Response 17/3 wow do you have that many bad experiences that you can’t work out which I’m talking about? Order HM2822
