Amazing winery surroundings, I say and listened to the vines hum in the wind for a while which sounds strange but it does sound like a person singing till you work out what it is! They have a deck in the trees which is really quite pleasant. Trees in autumn are amazing and I did watch a family getting their Instagram photos with their kids playing in the autumn leaves. Went to the gallery with a kid which was good but had to watch her every move as a lot of the installations are approachable for those with little hands.

A neat space, show casing thought provoking works. The current exhibition giving one a chance to contemplate Slowing Down.

What a gem! Delightfully surprised at the variety in the current exhibition. Friendly staff. Well worth a visit to these gorgeous grounds. Be sure to enter in the house / art work upon entering the property.

Five of us came to TarraWarra Museum of Art on a Wednesday. If you happen to be in the area or visiting the TarraWarra Estate Restaurant & Cellar Door for a winery experience, it is worth checking out the museum too. As they have been described, they definitely do ‘foster a passionate engagement with art within a relaxing environment’. The exhibition we saw on display was called ‘Looking Glass’, which incorporates and combines the elemental forces of earth, water, fire and air. My favourite display was the cloud chamber installation view, made up of several hand-blown glass ornaments hanging from the ceiling (they were shaped like little jalapeños). Every art piece always has a powerful story, and reading about the stories provided us with more insight into the context of the art. Thank you to the TarraWarra Museum, the staff, art creators, and all involved. Keep up the good work!

Good place to visit. Being from NZ this place is close to landscaps of Aoteroa. Museum was informative and I got to know about Atomic tests UK did im 1950s in SA. Also, how atrocious people were towards Aboriginal people back in the days. They had a wall with 40 pieces of ears of aboriginal people, obviously not real but depicting what has happened in the past. 1 less star just because they can improve in terms of customer service but again that is subjective. Cheers!

A beautiful sunny peaceful space for this exhibition. Gallery staff set the background with a short talk about the artists and their global reach. Gallery shop had beautiful objects, books and jewellery. Lovely spaces to sit on the lawns & take in the pond / lake.
