Amazing day out with the kids. You get a real feeling of being in nature as you walk around the sanctuary. There is plenty of places to stop and rest and a few large area to stop and let the kids run around or play on some play equipment. There is a few cafes throughout the sanctuary to grab a bite to eat or a coffee or cold drink. The animals are amazing and much easier to spot then when you are at Melbourne zoo for example and it really is a fantastic experience for the whole family

A lovely place to see many local animals. Some animals hid themselves maybe because of the hot weather. Facilities in the sanctuary are very good. There are water fountains in many places which is very convenient on a hot day.

Best place to see Koalas and other Mammals, Reptiles and Birds including many rare and endangered species. Good enough to take 1 day trip. Plenty of playgrounds for kids as well as cafes and restaurants.

We've been a few times, with and without kids and its always been a wonderful experience. The animals are super cute, the grounds are beautiful to stroll through and the cafe food is yummy. The bird show was fun. We missed out on seeing the wonderful man with the dijeridoo this time, but last time we attended, he left a lasting peaceful memory for us. We love coming here

Loved every animals at the Sanctuary. The people who take care of them are equally amazing. Standing ovation to the volunteers. I am now a proud member of the Zoo as well. Hope that helps 0.000000000000001% or even a smaller fraction in caring and providing food and shelter for the beautiful creations of God. My little princess enjoyed the day at the Sanctuary as well.

It's good for kids and the trees and surroundings are nice. Lots of realistic moving dinosaurs that are realistic enough to scare your average kid which they seem to enjoy! As far as an animal zoo goes I did like seeing a platypus and some of the native possums. We went on a busy day and that dealt with it well as far as parking and queues go.

Had an amazing time. First time ever being. Lots of little play areas around for the kids and the water misters were a hit. Was able to spot most animals out and about which was great. Will definitely take the time to travel there again, visit and help out Zoos Victoria!
