My first visit to this Hot Pot restaurant in the heart of Chinatown. Staff are friendly and helpful. You order your soup base and dishes from a iPad. Menu is in English and Chinese. Time limit for eating is 1hr 45 mins A fun way to have dinner with friends. A nice selection of sauces to choose from. Make up your own personal sauce for dipping your cooked meat into. We ordered two meat dishes, a bean curd rolls and some dumplings. We were very full at the end. Definitely will come back again with family and friends.

Never a bad meal at YX. Have eaten here more times than I can remember and it’s always exceptional- ingredients are so fresh and good, love the seafood options! Their tomato soup base always has me coming back for more. Staff are very attentive, great service!
Horrible service. Our booking was at 7:30pm and around 8:45pm we were told by the waitress that we had to pay our bill at the counter, although we hadn't finished eating yet. Meanwhile we noticed another table of mandarin speaking guests were left alone and when they did pay, the same waitress brought over the EFTPOS machine to their table... while we were directed to pay at the front desk. I didn't mind the food but the service ruined the experience. I'd rather pay more and go to Dolar Shop next time as their service is impeccable.
Great place for hotpot with friends and family as it had a great location! Loved the presentation of the food here and the wide variety of sauces at the sauce bar! Also loved the decor and service was amazing. The soup base was nice but not as much variety as other hotpot places I’ve been too also the wagyu meat quality is good but not as high marbling as I would of liked it. One of the best hot pot restaurants in Sydney! It has high quality, fresh ingredients, delicious soup bases and great sauce options. Service is also excellent and very fast, and the decor is wonderful. I haven't been in a while now, but if things havent changed, the only downside is the long queue/wait time to get in, due to the popularity of the restaurant. It is also a little bit pricey (we typically spend 100 for 2 people) but definitely worth it, especially for nice occasions.
Always a crowd pleaser. Individual pot where you get to choose your own soup flavor. Price point is towards and use of private room comes with 600 min charge
I have previously been to their flagship store in Eastwood and loved it! (Actually been more than once because they're my favourite place for hotpot) The pickled fish broth will always be my top choice when eating at YX. I love that their menu has so much variety, you are paying for the quality ingredients which is totally worth it \u2063 \u2063 My recommendations would be to get the meat platter because look at that damn marbling (you can get a closer look in my last post). I also loved the fish which was creatively plated and not to mention, the theatrics of dry ice! \u2063 \u2063 Great service by staff and they are so accomodating! Definitely worth a visit!
