This is my favorite hotpot restaurant in Sydney. The service is really friendly and the food is fresh and well presented. The soup base is good, I love their ox tail and tomato and truffle mushroom soup base, also like the idea of one pot per person, make you feel more comfortable. Ordering is very easy and food come quickly. Also you could park your car free after 6pm, that make the place perfect. Highly recommended this if you love hotpot.

The waiter was very nice, and introduced himself and told us about what their unique items are. Reception was good too, rarely do waiters in these kinds of restaurant are this attentive. It was not too busy when I dined. Help yourself to whatever dipping sauce you want for hotpot. Pricing is a bit up there but I think it's worth it once in a while. Their Golden Soup broth is my favourite. EDIT: Forgot to add that with certain orders the staff helps you with. Like the Prawn Patte? If I got the spelling of that right.

The Dolar Shop is definitely one of the nicest and probably priciest hotpots in the CBD area. Everything from the decor to the ambience give off a quality experience and vibe. We ordered a variety of meat and veggie dishes, all prepared nicely. I liked that they had a large sauce station and plenty of snacks to refill such as the watermelon and black fungus. I would recommend the prawn pate and any of the beef options. The vanilla and matcha ice cream was also a great way to finish off the meal! The staff were attentive and tried their best to offer a good dining experience which was appreciated. Definitely worth a try for a special occasion.

Company party. We booked a room with 8ppl minimum spend 880. Very nice service, always attentive. Self service sauces, better choices than Haidilao. Beef is very tender, love the crispy fish skin and durian pancakes. Recommended for group of friends and family. Kids friendly.

First time visiting The Dolar Shop, from reserving a spot to finishing up our meal the customer service was great. Definitely give the meat platter and vegetable basket a try, I really enjoyed the homemade noodles as well. If I had to give any feedback for improvement...it'd be to offer cutlery suitable for children that is 2 to 4 years old. Fiest time our kid ate vegetables without complaining or resistance, the hotpot satisfied our fussy eater and the staff was really good to her. She even mentions that she can't wait to visit her new friends soon. The ordering app is a bit difficult to use at first but the waitress was able to help navigate the menu quickly. (It was hard to tell if what I was ordering was spicy or not spicy.) Will definitely be back! We really enjoyed ourselves.

Really good hot pot with high quality meat. The broth is also really yummy. Got to get the prawn mince ball. Handmade noodle is soft in texture and flavourful to the tongue. Booking is recommended when coming to this shop as they fill up really quickly. Recently they have change their ordering system, where you use your phone to order your food and to look at the menu. The bill includes an ice cream. If it is your birthday they will give a gold plate instead of the white plate. Overall the experience in the dolar shop is pleasant and satisfying

This place is highly recommended. The service was great and they have the best quality meats compared to any other hotpots in sydney. Although it can get a little expensive but it was all worth it. Would highly recommend the truffle infused soup, was amazing.
