New concept of city library located in the heart of CBD Darling Harbour. Surrounded with cozy cafes and places for people taking their leisure time. The library located in the upper level with nice looking books shelf and new arrangement for borrowing books and many other items.Vibrant and really comfortable place for reading.

A library with good location, cleanliness, and interior. Has a lot of range of foreign stuff (book, magazine, CD, and etc) but would probably better if they expand their book collection. Definitely will go back for study when in the city!

The library is a nice place to study, albeit slightly small, with limited seating space. However the librarians/ some of the people working at the library seem to forget that people come here to quietly study, as each time I have been here, the librarians are usually talking loudly, with total disregard for the people who come to study in the peace and quiet. Rather than talking in soft whispers, and encouraging people who are talking loudly, to talk softly, they themselves talk loudly. Such a shame, as it's a great space for people to come study in the city

Lovely library with very friendly staff. It feels like home when I’m here. I feel very relaxed and productive. My favourite spot is on the first floor where I can see the view of darling square. ️

Greeted and welcomed on arrival by librarian staff set the first impression. The new public library in Darling Square boasts floors of spacious community and resources. The furnishings are modern and there ample areas outside for study or soak in the views. The children's play area was spacious as well and plenty of resources. There's a bit of a student over crowding already taking place but it's only Testament to the growing popularity of this library as a

Love that we call this Kengo Kuma building our local library. Love the space.

Is small area for study though manageable on first floor. Meeting rooms still closed which is annoying. Not great for large groups. Best for 2 people while restrictions in place.

Nice on the outside, nonfunctional on the inside. Even before COVID, desks and sitting spaces were very limited. Not much thought put into usage of space, and not conducive to reading and studying. More of a visit once-to-see place... look at Marrickville library if you want to see an example of a fantastic library.
