Food: Consistently awesome. Service: Consistently awesome. Location: Main road, need to park around the back. Place is quite roomy for prams, etc. Value: Well priced for the superb quality. Summary: We've been here like a dozen times. Better than lining up on the Russell Street one. You seen the line there?

Nice authentic ramen. Quality wise it is consistent with other Hakata Gensuke stores. The place is spacious and the lighting it good. Only 4 star because finding parking is a big problem and the prices are a little dearer than competitors.
DO: The signature or black garlic. DON’T: Have any fear? Do the God Fire level 5 TIP: The sets are good value
Very Delicious Ramen. I had the God Fire which was extremely satisfying. Condiments are provided on the table. The atmosphere was very relaxed, service staff were friendly and provided prompt service. Definitely will return again.
Hands down the best Ramen I've had in Melbourne! My only complaint is that they try to rush you out the door the split second you've finished eating so that they can get more people in. I understand that they don't want people sitting around talking while they're busy but they're a touch too aggressive on this front. Still a top notch experience and I will be back for sure!
Food is good (can't really go wrong) but the service could be better. I always feel rush to order and pay whenever I'm here.
Nice chewy noodles. Broth was tasty but very little meat and no egg on what should be a standard bowl or ramen. But....the Chicken Kaarage is really good!
I was recommended this place by a Japanese friend. The ramen initially looked like it would be too small a serving size, and there was only 1 (or maybe 2) slice of meat in the dish. For the money, I would have expected more, however in the end I didn't walk out feeling hungry. The pork broth was certainly very rich, thick and unique. The richness of it is probably part of why the smaller serving size was still enough to fill me up. The Chicken Karaage and the Gyoza sides were both good, with the chicken being well spiced, soft and juicy. The service was fairly impersonal, and I certainly didn't like the whole thing of scanning a QR code to bring a menu up on my phone, then ordering on my phone and entering my credit card details into some unknown site. I did have the option of ordering at their counter, but there is no table service beyond having the food brought out to you when it's ready. Staff also didn't explain the process upon first seating us. In summary, the interior decor was nice, the food was tasty and of a pretty good quality, but I personally probably won't make this a regular place that I visit.
