To Westernport Fishing Charters, Thanks so much to Rob & Brendan for our trip out on Thursday with the Lane crew. All 10 of us had a fantastic time and a great New Years feast was held yesterday. Thanks again guys and I will spread the word about how great an experience we all had. Regards Joey Lane & Gang.

A brilliant morning trip with Westernport Fishing Charters. All the crew were extremely professional and found the best spot even when 20 other boats were on the water! Everyone managed to catch plenty and we very much enjoyed our fish & chips for dinner. Thanks Westernport team, we had a blast :)

Fantastic day! Spent a great Sunday morning on Flying Fish II - all the crew were friendly and helpful, there was more than enough lunch to go round and plenty of fish was caught! Would highly recommend Westernport Fishing Charters - thanks guys!

Was obviously not the best fishing conditions when we went out, and credit to the deckie and skip for finding a fair few fish in the end and making a decent day out of it. The issue was that it was not really suited for beginner fisherman. I fish a lot so I enjoyed it but i could see that some people who were new to fishing were struggling a bit and the deckie and the skip could've helped a lot more intead of just fishing themselves. In my experience charters are about getting the customers onto fish, and there were a couple of times where i thought the deckie or the captain should've helped a beginner customer, but instead kept catching fish themselves. This is a charter I'd reccomend you go on if you are experienced, and know how to fish, because for the beginner, there is little to no help. Both the deckie and skip are good blokes and they cook a ripper feed, and I personally would go on the charter again, but it would be a different story if i was new to fishing. Also i dont know what is going on with a lot of charters not cleaning fish, and even though it was not a problem for us, I hope you judge the experience level of your customers on future trips, because it would be a shame to send a customer home with a big bag of whiting only for them to butcher them and ruin a lot of quality meat that they paid to catch out of inexperience. Overall i was pretty impressed that they managed to find fish when the signs were looking bad early (and avoiding toadies) but deckie and skip should be more customer orientated, particularly for younger or new fisherman

Not worth the money, they charged a little 5 year old kid for 100 bucks without any service,no kid fishing rod,no encouraging. The staffs keep smoking during the trip with a couple of young kids on board. Not kids friendly, not family friendly, there are loads of fishing chatters in port Philip bay got way better service !
