Our philosophy is to showcase the best local produce Australia has to offer and tie that in with asian flavours and techniques. er changing menu is inspired by the changing seasons so every experience will differ. *Individual set menu only on our dining area *Al la carte for all bar tables ard is set on Enmore road embracing the neighbourhood vibe in a relaxed casual environment. We have limited outside seating in the warmer months. Hartsyard is only a two minute walk from Newtown station.

Another outstanding meal, and the best Valentine’s Day set menu I can remember. Each dish was stunning and just when you think the current one is the best, the next one tops it. Despite being totally full, the staff were great and everything together made it a night to remember.

What a fantastic little restaurant. This establishment blurs the lines between fine dining and a casual atmosphere and does it with great results. The food is perfection. Tasty morsels, so intricately presented and perfectly balanced. Every dish was a hit - like the perfect bite over and over again. The service was likewise, spot on. Attentive yet professional and friendly. With a menu that changes seasonally and dishes that are frequently updated, this is a restaurant I’ll be going back to regularly.

We loved our recent dining experience here, we were a group of 8 and dined off the set menu. Each course was amazing but the octopus was definitely a favourite. All the staff were so knowledgeable and friendly and we really enjoyed interacting with the chef when some of the food was brought to the table. Looking forward to returning next time we're in Sydney for some more amazing food and drinks.

I recently had a great dining experience at Hartsyard. I'm a vegan and prior to eating here I was skeptical about how good it would be, because the website doesn't have a vegan menu on it. I have had bad experiences in the past at fine dining places that claim to be able to "adapt" their menu for vegans. But my dinner date called in advance and Hartsyard reassured him they would do a vegan menu. I was pleasantly surprised- the food was excellent. And the service was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable with regards to wine pairing. I will return and would recommend Hartsyard to both vegan and omnivore foodies!

We had a great night at Hartsyard. Food was great and the service was amazing!! Peter looked after us all night and always went the extra mile...even having a special choccy milk brewed after catching on to an inside joke. An absolute legend. Thank you!!

Food and service was spectacular, flavours were incredible. There was not one thing on the menu that wasn't amazing! We did the wine pairing also, which was perfectly matched. Aidan provided impeccable service and the rest of the team were fantastic also. Would highly recommend!
