Hardings Falls Track

No wheelchair-accessible entrance
Too good to ignore if there has been recent heavy rain - otherwise a really nice walk and falls. The roads could be better (maybe much better - but it is in the wilderness). Very easy track to follow and walk - but - watch the climb down - steep and many loose rocks but not too far and definitely worth the effort. Pics from two trips - very high flow but not flood - and normal lower flow.

This is a stunning location. Best probably in mid flow as there is an abundance of rock scrambling available
I love being outdoors, but this is one of those locations that covers a wide selection of criteria. It's a challenge walk, not a long walk but the ground is pretty uneven and at the end it's a rock scramble. You get stand under the falls, if you want, access at the base is great with large flat rocks and pools to dip your feet into. For the adventurous you can climb around the falls to the top. And they are rather tall so to stand at the base you get a chill up the spine and a reminder just how small we really are.
Once you get through the gravel road and rough descent, the falls are delightful. Well worth the effort to see and swim in the pools at the base of the falls in summer heat
We couldn't get access to visit these falls as the road went through private properties and their gates were locked! Such a weird set up!
Very Steep to get down to bottom of gorge where there a few waterfalls in the one area. Dirt road to get there take care driving the last section as narrow, some parts Rocky. No phone reception section in parts along road.
A lot of hidden trails and amazing secluded spots. Short or long trails dependent on comfort and fitness level.
Road conditions not so good. Track well maintained. Not much fall in drier seasons, still a beautiful place.
