My Dad had his old cine movies transferred to DVD about 25 years ago. After he passed away I took the original reels to Rob for him to transfer to DVD again. Rob explained to me that back when Dad had transferred them to DVD, it was done in a very basic way which explained why a lot of them were dark and dull. I was amazed at the difference with the transfer that Rob did for me. Not only were the colours more vibrant, but the clarity and "widescreen" version that he did have pleased me so much. I have just left three more reels in with him today. His care, knowledge and expertise puts my mind at rest knowing that our family's memories are in the best hands. Thank you Rob.
Expect to be amazed by Rob at Cineclair Productions. His knowledge of all the different video and film formats is second to none and no matter what condition the tape or film is, he gives you every chance of resurrecting it. I had some old super 8 film from my parent’s wedding that were severely damaged and very difficult to watch. But Rob manged to save 9-10 minutes of the film which is now on DVD and is fascinating to say the least. Thank you to Rob and Cineclair, very pleased with the top notch service!
I would rate Cineclair Productions a five star service simply because of the range of their skills. They can convert STD 8mm, SUPER 8mm, 9.5mm Pathe, 16mm and 35mm slides to DVD. I am happy to take this opportunity to recommend Cineclair to everyone needing to transfer old film formats. They are professional and have proven time and time again that they are able to handle all of my audio/visual needs, usually delivering ahead of schedule.
Excellent service and quality at a modest price. I received a number of strong recommendations of companies that could reliably and affordably transfer 16 mm film to DVD in Melbourne, but Cineclair turned out to be the best. It was a large job with 15 reels shot by my grandparents from the 1930s to the 1950s. Priceless footage that Rob converted with the utmost care and attention to detail. He indexed each reel on the DVD, without treating this as an extra, then asked how we would like them presented before packaging the discs in their cases exactly how we wanted. I will be returning to Cineclair with other film and video conversion projects that I had been reluctant to tackle until now. Highly recommended!

You totally have no idea how much help it was to get all my old albums converted into cds. Those audio cassettes were priceless to me. My Dad used to have an underground rock band back in his youth, and I have found those few years back. Listening to those were becoming impossible as I don’t have an audio cassette player. All of a sudden I stumbled upon a post from cineclair and I quickly consulted Rob to get my audio cassettes converted into CDs. It was a great great help from you, now I have all the albums secured. Keep up the awesome work!
