Fast and friendly staff, really well organised sections of the store, well stocked with a wide variety of goods. Only downside was I didn’t have any staff approach me and ask if I needed any help despite wondering the same area for a good 20-minutes.

The biggest art supply store in Newcastle. Pretty much everything you need. You can save a bit extra by signing up for their loyalty card.
Love going to Eckersley's art n craft, they have fantastic selections in all u need n more. The staff r friendly n will help out without hesitation n they answer any questions when asked, very well informed. Some products r high in price range but I don't mind paying the extra dollar because u know your getting value for your money. There's things there even if your not an artist or crafty. I can spend hrs in there just looking at the different products. I've got to drag my husband out of there sometimes he's like a kid in a lolly shop every time we go there.
Range seems good for a noob like myself. Lots of media to grow and learn to use. Staff disinterested in helping, I don't think we looked arty enough, others who did were greeted with a smile and good service. Consistent with other visits. Next time I will dress the part
Just returned from my shop at eckersleys Newcastle. Terrible customer service. I was served when paid at 11:59am by Zoe T who was unfriendly, dismissive and acted like she was doing me the favour by letting me pay. After 12 years of shopping here I will never return. It costs nothing to treat people with manners and kindness.
Great pace to get your art supplies and the employees were very helpful.
