We love this track and regularly ride it with the kids (14&10yo). Very family friendly nicely laid out. Most intimidating thing for many first timers is the entrance, but once you get onto the trails proper its very ridable for anyone with fairly basic skills. Shame the council doesn't want to get involved its such a great asset.

Nice mix of trails that are fun and easy to link up. Not that steep anywhere. Some good natural rock sections on both blue and black trails.
Great trails for every skill level, even little kids!
Nice trail features and plenty to keep you coming back.
