Over the last couple of years, I've been treated at the ER a number of times. All the staff I've come into contact with are professional, caring, gentle, and thoughtful. I appreciate them so much.
On 13.2.18 I accidentally cut the outside of my left wrist. After checking with my GP's clinic I went to the Emergency Dept of Gympie Hospital since I couldn't stop the bleeding and I'm left handed. From the moment I entered the Dept. and was greeted by a smiling receptionist my experience was a warm, secure and professionally outstanding one. The triage nurse was quick and efficient and the young lady doctor and her protege' trainee doctor were gentle, kind, caring and excellent professionally. Listening to the doctor showing her charge the ropes was an utter delight and nearly brought tears to the eyes. Happily, my issue was very minor but I know from the previous 3 times I have had to avail myself of the emergency service during the last 13 years, that the attention afforded, no matter the problem, is always the best.
