Really friendly staff from the moment we walked in. Location is great to sit outside on a sunny day and watch the world go by. Drinks really well priced and our Pizza and Salad delicious and very fresh. A really easy place to enjoy a lazy day.

As Sydneysiders, we stumbled upon Public while we explored the arcades of Manuka, and Public did not disappoint. Very friendly service, comfy seats outside, generous pours, and tasty fresh food. We enjoyed the Beetroot Salad and the Ham & Pineapple Pizza (don't knock it until you try it -- it was amazing, crusts and all)! Thanks so much for a great lunchtime getaway!

Best gluten-free pizza I've ever had.
Gluten free items listed on the menu (eg: fries and squid) are cooked in the same fryer as the gluten items, making them unsafe for Coeliac’s. Staff did not seem to see that this is an issue. The only truly gluten free option on the menu is the chocolate cake. Atmosphere and drinks are good if you are willing to be a hungry coeliac.
A great place to hang out and have a couple drinks with your friends. The indoor and outdoor atmosphere of this pub is very comfortable and welcoming. The food is also worth checking out and is full of flavour. Would highly recommend the pizzas. The choice of beers on tap is also very good. My only recommendation would be to improve the quality of the spirits such as a JD and coke or rum and ginger as they were lacking in taste. Overall, very good experience.
Great local spot for drinks and a feed. Recommend to book for groups at the moment with everything happening with Covid. Staff are always friendly and it’s close to everything!
