Took five kids and we all had a great time. Lots of tumbles but after half an hour we were skating around. Staff were lovely and helpful.

Well, it is more that my grandkids had a lot of fun, and anything a grandparent does with grandchildren is a minimum 4 stars!

I cannot recommend this as a place to skate, no matter if you are a beginner or experienced. It is advertised as a "synthetic" ice skating rink, however, I have never experienced this before, and I will never go near one again. Putting a thin piece of metal onto a plastic surface that is waxed, is a recipe for disaster. I have done inline skating and ice skating for a number of years. I am far from being great at skating, but this is far from being anything like a skating experience. My suggestion, as I told a lovely staff member, would be to replace ALL the ice skates with roller blades and roller skates, because then people will actually have traction and have fun, rather than hurt hands and bruised knees. One good note, the staff were lovely and kindly gave me a refund.

The plastic surface isn't very slippy and the rink is small: it's ok for small kids who have never skated before but that's it. The staff are useless and kid's parties are poorly organised with food coming out 40 minutes late.

It was close to being a great afternoon but there were SO many little things that let the whole thing down. The staff (with the exception of one nice young man) showed no interest, were not helpful and when ask for assistance spoke into their headsets, but provided no feedback to me. I needed ice for a childs injury but they had none. This is a place that should ice at hand. But we were told they had all been handed out and not returned. Just have cubes and plastic bags, dont rely on people returning shop bought packs! So no ice to help. They said 1 hour for skating then told me the hot food would be ready 35 mins into the 1 hr session. When I questioned this I got an eye roll and a walk away. The kitchen staff did not weae gloves and the same staff that handled food also handed out the skates. Overall, really disappointing. Small, easy and inexpensive changes would make this whole experience so much better.
