My husband and I both used Alteration One and we both had the same issue - not hemming our items as short as we wanted and as pinned. She made comments such as "that's very short, are you sure" and sure enough both my dress and my husband's pants came back more than 5cm too long. We were both also not given a chance to try our items on (and yes, I asked to). I had to hem his pants with a hotel room sewing kit two minutes before leaving for a wedding. I took the items back and she agreed to fix the pants, but not my dress for some reason. She was also quite rude to me, and to my husband when he picked his pants up. The quality of the sewing itself is top notch, but I won't return to a tailor who doesn't listen to her customers.

Did a great job altering my fiancé’s suit - he had the pants shortened and also the sleeves on the jacket just a tiny bit and it was really good work. They were very knowledgeable about how the pants would hang at which length and they pressed everything ready for when he picked them up. Will be back next time we need alterations
