The GP that is on, on tuesdays and Friday’s is one of the loveliest doctors I’ve met that takes the time to listen to your concerns and understand the burden of living with a chronic condition , is also polite and all round has very good communication skills. The Receptionist or Nurse on the other hand can be very rude and shows a lack of emphathy or understanding for patients . I’ve experienced this on the phone, in person and observed it with others when I’ve been in waiting room. People are nervous enough to see the doctors , please show kindness, care and perhaps listen rather then judge. Other then this experience it is a nice surgery.

Disgraceful! I waited 45-50 mins for a flu shot. Receptionist is extremely rude. Never going back there.

The receptionist is rude and unprofessional, I booked the appointment for a specific time as it was between jobs for me . Upon arrival the wait room was full, I asked how long the wait would be she advised it would be 30 - 45 mins seriously that is ridiculous, I asked if I can change the appointment day as I couldn't wait around that long I had to get back to work. She rudely stated that the doctors were busy, I sad that is why I made a specific time, which is a waste of time, she spoke down to me in a derogatory tone and couldn't be bothered to assist me. So i said I would have to go to another centre she ripped up my completed initial form in front of me and said fine. Seriosly who hired her if this is what you have as the first point of contact, the person who represents your business what does it say about the doctors and the patient care. Not much. Very disappointed with the disrespectful service received.

I didn't even get in to see the doctor because the reception staff were godawful. Firstly we are forced to buy a mask whilst being reminded that "we're in a global pandemic" even though we were not told of this on the phone or in the appointment reminder. No other doctor's practice has asked me to wear a mask or had restrictions on my partner coming in. We would have bought our masks from home if we had known that was their rule. There is no government restriction about wearing masks at this time, and I didnt appreciate being treated like a child. We were not arguing about wearing masks we just wanted to be told in advance so we could bring our own. Secondly I'm told that my partner can't come in even though my appointment is for mental health and I require her with me for my current state of mind. I'm going in for a mental health consult because I need an urgent referral to a psychiatrist and this receptionist caused me to have an anxiety attack. The receptionist was so nasty and condescending I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Find someone else.

I'm very disappointed in the rude behaviour of the staff at this clinic, don't waste your time. After waiting 2.5 hours for my booked phone appointment I was subjected to atrocious behaviour by the receptionist 'Angel' who hung up on me mid-conversation and then proceeded to put me on hold when I called back. Very unprofessional practice.

This is a woeful excuse for a doctors surgery. The receptionist is rude and abrupt and shows absolutely no care or concern for anyone walking through the door. She seemed to enjoy being purposefully UNHELPFUL and ignored me when I was standing in front of her at the counter asking a question. Refused to give me a rough idea of wait time (there were a fair few people waiting and I was on time) and when I pretty much pleaded with her to give me an idea (as I was in a lot of pain) she then said “I will tell you after I put your details in the system”. Talk about a power trip! What a disgraceful person to employ as the “face” of your doctors surgery. If I could give it 0 stars I would have! DO NOT GO HERE.

Mid twenties male - After toying with the idea to seek help for some personal issues, I visited the Greenslopes Medical centre when things just got a little out of hand. I was welcomed in an amicable and professional manner, which made me feel comfortable when I raised my concerns with the practicing GP. I was then referred to Olaf the resident Clinical Psychologist. It was clear from the get go that Olaf has a wealth of diverse clinical experience. Olaf takes a scientific, open and thorough approach which has does wonders for myself in relation to implementing personal strategies with the aim to create a more stable and productive lifestyle. I would recommend the services to any young males out there who have been considering seeking mental health assistance, but never have.
