Park in the parking station nearby. I am sure parishioners appreciate this very traditional Orthodox church, but I couldn't help feeling that it was hard to see how it can survive in the 21st century. There for a funeral, lights and aircon turned off immediately after the service conducted by a youngish bloke with an ancient looking fellow helping with the chanting who was keeping a close eye on his watch.

When I was little and lost my wallet, I asked someone who seemed to work there if someone handed it to them. I was met with hostility and I was almost scared to tears. They thought I was going to cry about the money I lost. (Love the architecture though) why didn't they help me?

The Greek Orthodox Parish in Kogarah is a large popular church that gets quite full on Sunday mornings. There are plenty of seat and standing room on both the main and mezzanine levels. Easter week services are held in the evenings and are very busy. The church fills up and the people spill out onto the street and across the road. #letsguide #accessibleseating

The worst church ever, got rid of our priest Fr Sofrony who was cool, committee eats all money. Shame on new Archbishop Makarios for targeting our Holy Priest.

I try to go to Sunday services. It was good today not too busy. Plenty of seats and not too hot. Parking under the library and square always available for free as long as you get there early enough. Elevator straight to square abd a a quick one minute walk to the church.

Great church Father Sopronios always gives very interesting and wise speeches, with great sense of humor which is helps to keep people engaged. Had honer to have Father Dimitrios in my house for home blessing he was very punctual very comfortable to talk to, gave me valuable advice how to raise children with faith in God.
