GP West was started by Dr. Kiran Puttappa, a practicing GP with great passion to general practice in 2011. With Dr. Kiran Puttappa’s vast first hand clinical experience as a Registrar in various Public Hospitals in Perth and Gold Coast and also being senior examiner to RACGP and clinical lecturer at UWA ,the work environment, recruitment process and advice is made much easier for doctors who are looking for new opportunities. He has recently served as Board Member of RACGP ( WA Faculty) and currently sits as a Panel Member of AHPRA. GP West employs over 100 medical and non medical staff, across 11 Centres helping to deliver the needs of the community in an efficient way. Our Medical Centres have state of the art facilities, onsite pathology, allied health providers and nursing staff who all provide the best health care for our patients in one place. As the company expands, we are seeking to employ GP's that would líke to join us at GP West. VR GPs We are primarily looking for doctors who are trained and worked in Australia, New Zealand, the UK, Ireland, Canada or Singapore, so you will need to have specialist qualifications from one of these countries and also membership of the appropriate Royal College, so that you work as VR GPs to attract higher medicare rates. All IMGs must work in DWS area for atleast 10 years. Non VR GPs We also have positions for other IMGS who have passed their AMC Part 1 and IELTS to work as a Non VR GPs. For these doctors we are happy to provide supervision and we ideally need these candidates need to sit for Level 3 Pesci exams. All doctors in this category must work in both DWS and AON positions. RMOs and Registrars Planning to Work as GPs We have positions for currently working doctors in the Hospital systems in Australia as RMO, Registrars with previous experience in General Practice and have passed both AMC part 1 and 2 and have General Registration.
