Basic Treasures is a small business which began operating in 2018 for the advocacy of mental wellbeing. Basic Treasure Cards is a way of helping the community to show others that they are valuable, loved and cared for. All Basic Treasure Cards are affordable and include postage to anywhere in Australia Having worked in mental health for some years I have seen that isolation is a major problem; people get down, then the messages start that no one cares about them and suicide is the result. I am trying to stop those messages going any further. Living with regret is heartbreaking, don’t forget to remind people that they are loved. Our world has become so busy and showing the people around you that you care about them is sadly sometimes forgotten. With an increase in suicide and depression in the world, isolation, one of the symptoms, is a big concern.
