People join a club for enjoyment not to be verbally abused & berated, the committee needs to have a good look at itself, clubs do not have owners, they should be run by members not by cranky old ill tempered members of a purple circle. Since its prime the membership of this club has declined from a peak of more than 125 - 130 members in the early 1980s to less than 20 in 2012, (I have been told it was as low as 8 in 2008) it regained some new members to reach 64 in 2014 to 2015 however due directly to its "owners" went into decline. Due to the unwelcoming nature of its "owners" a breakaway group successfully formed their own new & more welcoming club nearby in Kelmscott, another large group moved to a much more sociable & friendly club close by in Melville, sadly I personally know others who have given up this sport solely due to the unfriendly atmosphere. The current membership has probably declined to around 30 -35 financial members, a large percentage of these it would be safe to say only remain as the club has excellent facilities & grounds provided by the City of Gosnells, unfortunately it is run by some very self centred & arrogant individuals. I agree fully with the previous reviews below, it is a very accurate assessment of this club, there are some very nice members, not all are arrogant & bombastic
