My husband was near to cardiac arrest, due to severe prostate problems, when we sort the expertise and medical services of Doctor Martin Elmes. Dr. Elmes immediately recognised the severity and urgency of his condition and took all of the necessary precautions and performed the required procedures with great skill and competency, using the most up to date and accurate equipment available. My husband has regained his dignity and his health and is like a 'new man'. We cannot recommend Dr. Elmes highly enough.
I had an initial surgery some 7 years ago to rectify an enlarged prostate. This surgery was only partially successful and deteriorated over the following years. Was passing clots which eventually caused a situation where I could not pass water. This lead to an emergency situation at which point Dr Elms came to the rescue and immediately performed surgery on me under most trying conditions. The result was spectacular and gave me back a system as good as that which I had when I was 20. No more pads, instant urination, no dripping, no more prostatitis, no bleeding or anxiety. System works like new and I can thoroughly recommend Dr Elms and his surgical team for their caring and professional approach to my emergency.
Had a procedure on Thursday and although I was not looking forward to procedure Dr Martin Elmes put me at ease. He answered most of all the questions I had before I had to ask them the information given to me prior was very informative and the pictures of my procedure after gave me s better understanding as to what was done. It's still early days yet but I am looking forward to a more comfortable life style. Thank you Marty for all the help.
I cannot rate Martin Elmes and his team highly enough – real professionals. I have been a patient of Martin for over 2 years now and he recently performed a Robotic Assisted Radical Prostatectomy on me. Both Martin and his staff, particularly Stephanie, are absolutely brilliant. Martin is punctual, polite, and very informative regarding what my options were. He gets to the point in a professional, friendly manner and does what he says he will do without any fuss, whilst also giving you plenty of time to discuss and consider the treatments available. Likewise, Stephanie is very prompt at getting back to you with all the relevant information; arranging appointments with Martin, Radiologists, hospitals, blood tests, call backs, instructions, updates etc. I would not hesitate in recommending this practice. Exceptional service and comfortable, professional environment. Visiting any Urologist is an uncomfortable situation but dealing with Dr. Elmes and his wonderful assistant Olivia made the ordeal a lot more bearable. Olivia was very accommodating and professional in organizing everything ahead of time and every time I spoke with Dr. Elmes on the phone or in his offices he was professional and made me feel a lot more comfortable about my situation. I could not recommend the practice more. 5 Stars.
No-one wants the diagnosis that they have Cancer but my own experience has been that once you positively embark on the journey to deal with it then there is no-one better to lead the way than Dr. Martin Elmes. He reassuringly guides you through every step of the way and most importantly prepares you for the best post-operative outcome. Following a laproscopic procedure, due to his skill I was feeling surprisingly well the day after surgery and exceptionally well one week later. My worries about post-operative incontinence were unfounded and 4 weeks on I have not looked back in my recovery. I was very lucky to find Martin who is also a very approachable man and one that is happy to discuss your fears and concerns. I believe that it his professionalism and skill that has given me such a good outcome and I write this review as I would like to share my good fortune with others in the same situation.
