Highly recommend a visit. The museum was so interesting and very well organized. The people who work there were amazing, they all spoke to us and showed us lots of different aspects about the exhibits. George ( a gentleman who works there) told us some bush poetry and played the bugle for us. The staff even invited us to join them for morning tea.

Very lovely museum with lots of interesting things to discover. The volunteers are absolutely fantastic and it was great to hear them tell personal stories about the houses, memorabilia and objects in the museum.

Our son went to the museum for a school trip and wanted to return with his family in tow. We spent a lovely couple of hours there on a Sunday afternoon. The staff are wonderful. The museum is small and quaint, but for the inquisitive of mind, there’s much to look at and the guides enjoy a chinwag.
