Going Gourmet staff are fantastic, professional and dedicated to making our event a success. We celebrated a 50th birthday party, and a big thank you to Chef Owen, Nic and Katie who were just organised, and cooked everything to perfection. The serving of food by Katie was amazing and very friendly commented by all the guests. Nothing was left undone, food was cooked in a timely manner, fresh and ample of servings. Even though the winter weather prevailed, our catering team delivered exceptional service with smiling faces all night. Going Gourmet were the caterers for our wedding in March and we were so so happy with everything! We had a stand up cocktail style wedding reception and all of the food was fantastic. All of the guests absolutely loved the food, from the grazing table during the cocktail hour to the desserts. Even the tasting night was enjoyable and allowed us to try all of the foods that we wanted served at our event. The price of this catering service was very competitive, communication was always prompt and we have nothing but good things to say about Going Gourmet catering.
We had Going Gourmet cater our wedding (14/03/20) just outside of Daylesford and they were absolutely incredible! The property we got married at didn't have any kitchen or catering facilities yet Going Gourmet were able to provide everything needed to produce incredible food. We selected the cheese table, feasting menu and desserts and everything was a hit with our guests. Everyone spoke about how delicious all the options were, servings were very generous and great with dietary requirements. Communication leading up to our big day was fantastic with them being very accommodating with the tasting (as we live interstate). On the day they were wonderful in regularly checking to make sure everything was OK. When we need another event catered or have friends looking for their wedding, we would highly recommend Going Gourmet! Thank you for making our day absolutely perfect.
We had a super awesome experience with your team, they arrived right on time and the set up was very smooth and seamless. Once the food was cooked and prepared, presentation was impeccable but also very thoughtful and strategic for our space. The food was very tasty, with many people commenting on the flavours and dishes. Better yet, clean up was completed very promptly, and it was almost like the kitchen was unused. We would very much welcome the Going Gourmet team into future events.
After many disastrous dealings with other mobile caterers, we found Going Gourmet, and have used them for 4 of our Christmas luncheons for our staff. Every year, the choice of food is fantastic, and the quality is wonderful and quantity is very generous. We highly recommend Going Gourmet.
Going Gourmet catered for our daughters wedding, with over 100 guests this was no small task and they excelled at making the night a success. They are very professional, everything was served on schedule and the quality of the food was first rate. The staff are so dedicated that even when it started to rain i saw one of the staff members serving hot food while holding a serving platter in one hand and an umbrella and napkins in the other. I forgot to mention they left the house as clean as when they arrived, all up we would not hesitate to recommend Going Gourmet to anyone who needs event catering.
The staff are amazing. Service and Bar staff on the evening looked after our guests so well and the food was to die for – as usual. My kitchen was immaculate when they left, there was absolutely nothing for me to do other than turn the lights out for a good night’s sleep. The whole experience with Going Gourmet was a breeze.
