Sued this business in QLD and won, search Q 784/20 for details. Judge ruled “this product does not meet acceptable standards, and should last at least 3 years, not the 2 years the manufacture offers”. Terrible to deal with. Bought a unit, failed 3 times in 6 months. Then gave me a new one, and it failed 2 years 11 months later. GES refused to help, and Court found that unacceptable. So, don’t put up with them telling you it’s a 2 year warranty, you’re protected by the ACL for longer. How much longer? Well there’s now a court ruling for 3 years, but would probably win a court ruling for much longer based on the judges comments. They also admitted in court their product had a 5% failure rate.
