We had an awesome day out horse riding at Glenworth Valley Outdoor Adventures. It’s roughly an hour’s drive out of Sydney and literally feels like a secret scenic detour the moment one gets off the highway and turns into Glenworth Valley. We arrived at 2.00 pm just in time for our session and the checkin process was pretty smooth. We got a solid 2 hours of riding in the wilderness and thanks to our guide - Sarah from Texas, most of us who were first timers became so comfortable riding within minutes. We also did a few trots and river crossings along the way. The best part, my 10 year old was absolutely stoked at the experience. And she rode so comfortably and safely thanks to our guide - Sarah from Texas. We are now planning to be back so we can camp here (we saw a lot of camps - some glamps too !) for a few days and experience all the outdoor adventures. Hopefully we’ll be back soon.

Horses Us

Amazing place, totally recommend. Views are absolutely beautiful there. The trail rides will take on all levels- beginners and more experienced. More experienced riders can be catered to and are able to canter ahead of the group (which is what I have done). Staff and volunteers are super friendly and helpful to all. Horses are absolutely great and well cared for. Trail riders are put on a horse that matches with their level of riding. Great experience with nice relaxing trails and a nice cafe to come back to! I had such a good time on my trail ride, the horse was great to me. The overall atmosphere of this place is friendly and fun. Wonderful horses, views, staff, and food. I will definitely come back.

Had an amazing ride today. Sophie was an amazing guide, she’s a complete natural at the job! And thankyou also to April and the two volunteers who came along, you were all great! Chips was an awesome horse, it was great that we were able to canter ahead of the ride while my inexperience partner (on Frankie) was able to just cruise along with the others. Will definitely be back again:)

I loved the beautiful scenery, your guides are just lovely, the wildlife was very cool especially the green tree snake with the frog dinner. I thoroughly enjoyed the ride thru the natural bush with a couple of small river crossings & Wizard was a gorgeous horse. The only reason I don't give 5 is because I was a little disappointed & REALLY looking forward to the "free range ride" that I booked & paid for but Wizard refused to leave Tango behind

Social distancing activity in nature! What more could you want! Such a fabulous place to go on a horse trail ride. I had a previous scary experience - so it was wonderful to feel safe at all times - with a leader at front and back of group. Small groups. A gorgeous trail ride. Opportunities for photos, matched with a horse to your level and for your size. Great parking, toilets and cafe. And we had a picnic on the grounds after. My friend is more experienced in horse riding and they allowed her to do some extra activities with her horse which she’s never been able to do elsewhere. We had an amazing leader - Sarah Highly recommend

I loved every minute of my time here. Horses are just beautiful and well-trained. All the staff are friendly and patient.. Coach Andrew was very professional, and kind. I will definitely come back again. I highly recommend this place for every level of experience..

Don't go if you are a experienced rider. After my experience on Sunday Glenworth is more suited to beginners and first timers. Even though they knew my skill set and what I wanted our of my ride I ended up very disappointed. It was a complete waste of a Sunday and I will not be returning.

We went horse riding at this beautiful place last month. Our guide Sophie was very professional and she made the 2 hrs trail adventure ride fun for us. The horses we had were gentle and friendly. Will visit again.
