Closed! I yet do not know why or for how long.
No free entry. DayPass is 14 per car and valid from 7am to 10pm.
Some great hidden camping spots get there early in the summer time not enough trees to go around. Sometimes there's a roaring wind that snaps across the lake lean out hard on that plank sales away.
I have family living in the area and we were going to let the children have a swim in the dam if possible. We drove to the site which I believe might be a Government amenity. It looks like it has been "given" to private enterprise and gave the appearance of a concentration camp. No signage to let you know if you had to pay, how much you had to pay etc etc. Very tourist unfriendly. Government departments have no idea how to run anything but I think if they took it back over, they could not do worse. I note on another website that visitors can drive in to have a look but if that is true, it is not obvious to visitors. I cannot find a website that tells me what "the go" is at Glenbawn Dam
Great weekend or day spot
