Efficient, friendly service. Hygiene and spacing protocols seem to be executed quite well here too. The food arrived swiftly but the chicken was a tad on the dry side, and a little too much rice for my stomach's and wallet's liking. Otherwise a really nice chill restaurant

We usually drive to the city for Shujinko but decided to go here instead and the tsukemen was as good as expected, and we loved the soft serve black sesame ice cream on the way out. It is in a mall but the mall is nice and you can also.park outside the mall, near Dan Murphy's which is just across the street from the resturant. Always recommend Shujinko and the food was consistent with downtown Melbourne locations.
my first time visit and was very keen on trying out their ramen! i found their signature ramen a bit on the average side and needed to add some seasoning to the broth. however, they serve up a delicious Oden (fish cake assortments on broth) and this broth was by far the winner! i also ordered their tsukemen (dip ramen) which was absolutely delicious and would 100% recommend! its very hard to find tsukemen in melbourne! overall i still enjoyed the meals, the dishes were priced appropriately and staff was quick to respond. i will definitely be coming back and would recommend others to try!
Returned visit to this shop. Ordered charshu pork noodle, chicken karrage and squid ring for our 2 adults 1 child dinner. The meals had same great tase. The meat as well as the rice were not too dry or wet. The texture and flavour were perfect. The downside was the squid ring. It seems too soogy and the taste was not whole. Not sure what went wrong. However the price wise was ok for our pocket. But we might return again.
Very friendly and attentive staff. Place was clean and tidy. Disappointed with the ramen broth, almost unflavoured. Cannot be compared to the first shop in the city, a bit of work needed to get it right.
Always good. taste real Japanese ramen around this southeast area.
This place was pretty amazing and the line of people waiting to try it gave it away. A friend had said that there's the same place in Japan so it ads to the credit of this place. (This review was from my visit on the 1st August) The ramen and Don (rice dishes) they had was really good. Me and my friends had good time with each other, while also admiring the collection on display. At some point my dish took a bit to come but after I brought it to the staff's attention they were more than happy to give me my food straight away (All the other food came very quickly). A great experience to start off the night exploring the newly opened areas of the glen.
When you wife and your boy chugs down on their noodles and are not interested in holding a conversation, you know the noodles are legitly awesome.
