Fabulous staff really know the personality of the animals in their care and matched us with our dream kitty Freya.

Amazing place. They clearly love all the animals in their care and strive to make sure all go to suitable and loving homes. The shelter and animal living spaces are always clean and the cats and dogs are always clean and looking happy and well cared for. Ive now adopted two amazing pets from them. Would recommend to everyone to adopt from here.
Extremely helpful and friendly people there. Also great cheap/free used doggo stuff like beds, bowls, leash just to get you started. Also very supportive and after the adoption of you have any questions. Faculty is clean and organised
I love this website. I often visit to see if there are small dogs up for adoption. I'd love a wee friend for my fur baby. Easy to see immediately whether there are any available without having to trawl through the list. Great format!
Visited as I'm looking to get a dog in the near future and was pleasantly surprised by save a dog. They had a fair few staff in for a Sunday afternoon and they had a large number of dogs to view. They were very relaxed and ready to help when needed. The dogs 'lots/cages' were very clean however felt a little small for the bigger dogs. During the hour or so we were there 3 dogs were taken for walks or outdoors with the staff/volunteers which was really nice to see. If you're thinking of getting a dog this is a great place to start looking for a new family member.
If you want a dog go there great poelpe who work there. You will love the visted there .
I adopted my Beagle Cross Roo aged 6 at the time back in 2013, I could not have faulted them , Roo is still alive and kicking
